IELTS is a mandatory test designing to assess the language ability of candidates of academic / general purpose in UK, CANADA, AUSTRALIA and NEW-ZEALAND. IELTS is jointly managed by the University of Cambridge, The British Council and IDP Education Australia.
Band scores are recorded on a Test Report form showing overall ability as well as performance in listening, reading, writing and speaking. There are 9 bands ranging from Band 1 to Band 9. Results are available approximately 12 days after the test date.
Re-Taking IELTS Test:
Once the candidates take the test, they can retake the test only after 3 months.
Unlimited Computer Adaptive Tests and paper Based Tests for additional practice in perfectly simulated conditions are administered in GEC.
